Grammar Friday

man_question_markToday, I’m offering not a grammar tip but a spelling lesson suggested by Mary Kay Knief (@mkknief on Twitter). These 10 frequently misspelled, food-related words originally appeared on epicurious.com. Keep the list handy if you have trouble with these words.

  1. Macaroni
  2. Barbecue
  3. Chipotle
  4. Tomato
  5. Reuben
  6. Sandwich
  7. Dessert
  8. Omelet/Omelette (French)
  9. Caesar
  10. Fettuccine

As a bonus, I’ve added a video above of a famous food misspelling that came back to haunt a certain vice president.
