Here are today’s two grammar tips:
- The preposition into is used when conveying motion, as in, “I went into the store to shop.” Use in to indicate location, as in, “I am in the store now, but I’ll be going into the restaurant soon.”
- Continual means “repeated in rapid succession”; continuous means “uninterrupted” (in time or space). So, a piece of property can be surrounded by a continuous fence, but your continual interruptions have become annoying.
