Congrats on your reaching this milestone.

I understand why you would want to build your Email subscription list -- the Feedburner metrics on RSS subscriptions are a bit sketchy and Email seems like a more direct way to reach subscribers, but I&#039;m not convinced that that&#039;s so.  Of the sites who offer only Email subscriptions, I find that I rarely read the ones I&#039;ve subscribed to. But I usually do read the subscriptions in my Google Reader.  They are always waiting for me there in one spot, whereas Emails are quickly pushed down the line, never to be seen again.   

I already subscribe to your feed, but since you&#039;ve asked, I&#039;ll subscribe to the Emails as well, and we&#039;ll see how it goes.
